New builder- I am trying to find a good graphics card that won't leave me skimping on other parts. My budget would be $200-300 for the card as i am trying to be able to play most games.

For the $200-$300 range, definitely go for the Nvidia geforce 760, it's what I'm running, and it runs all the games I have on high-ultra settings. Check it out: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
