Hello everyone who reads this,

Im Robert, from The Netherlands and i have some concerns about my temperature readings.
Im using Asrock Extreme Tuning Utility to do the read-out.

Here are my PC specs: (you'd ask for it anyway)

CPU: AMD FX-8320 with a stock cooler.
Motherboard: Asrock 970 Pro3 R2.0.
Memory: Crucial 8GB (2x 4GB) DDR3-1600 9-9-9-24 timing i believe.
GPU: Gigabyte GTX-650 OC 2GB.
HDD: 1x 320GB Windows 7 64-bit, 1x 1TB for games and stuff.
PSU: 480W Cooler Master ( 2 years old ).

I'm running 33C / 91F at idle, isn't that a little too high?
When i'm gaming, it's getting up around 52C / 125F..

Sometimes i wonder if that's good, Then when i read the internet, it mostly commes down to this:
Maximum temperature recommended by AMD is 62C ( around 150F i think ).

Is my temperature good, Too high, Common?

On my motherboard, there is an option to go into X-Boost.
Sure, im a gamer, give me some boost.. So i enabled it.

Is that a good feature to use since im mostly gaming?

Games i use during the read-out:

Dayz Standalone ( High Settings )
Battlefield 4 Single player ( Almost Ultra Settings )

Thanks in advance and sorry if my english is a bit off.

Oh and P.S: Happy Newyear :-)

Mid 50c is totally acceptable with the standard cooler. My i7 uses a fairly basic air cooler as it is not the K version (although I have a cheeky little overclock anyway!) and mine maxes out at 53c and idles at 32c also. My previous core 2 duo also ran similar temps.

Wow, Thanks for the fast answer.

so it's safe to say my CPU is doing quite well .. Okay thanks for that!
Im still thinking of buying a different CPU cooler, Since the stock one just makes so much noise.

Cooler Master Hyper212 Evo is what im thinking about.
Low price, Lowish noise level, Much air movement! :D

No problem, yes the standard AMD cooler is noisy. With an aftermarket one they are usually more efficient and you should see a decent drop in temperature under load.

the hyper 212 evo is great and also for overclock, but since this motherboard isn't good for overclocking (as far as i know you can't oc this cpu on this motherboard, maybe a very mild oc) i would recommend the deepcool gammaxx 300. i have it myself and it makes less noise than my case fans it is so quiet :D  and it runs about 10 C cooler than the stock fan
