I am pretty much maxing out my budget with this build (4770k, GTX 780) and was wondering if the stock cooler is ok for gaming, I will only use it for a month or so, until I have a little more money to buy maybe a H100i.

Also is it a headache to remove the existing fan and replace it post build?

If it is not suitable for gaming, then can a very cheap (less than £30ish) cooler be recommended.

Many thanks

PS No overclock will be done until I get the cooler.

for stock speeds the stock cpu cooler is enough you wont need to change it.removing the stock cooler is a piece of cake dont worry.installing h100i wiil be easy if the side of the tower has open space or else youll have to remove the motherboard from the case to mount it!

You'll be ok playing with the stock cooler as long as you don't overclock. It's not hard to change the CPU fan and better save money for a liquid CPU cooler. Don't waste money now on cheap CPU fans.

Ok thanks for the help, a recommended cooler for when i get some more money? Around £80-90. Is H100i silent and does it perform well? I have read about it not conducting heat well and the fans being very noisy.
