Good morning folks, I'm using a GA-990FXA-UD3 motherboard combined with my FX-8350.
I'll be getting a windforce R9 290 very soon, but it supports 3.0 and my motherboard is only 2.0 for the x16 slots.

Will i see any bottlenecks here when using 3.0 with 2.0?

Thanks in advance.

No, to be honest mate enabling PCI-E 3.0 on capable boards usually ends up with lower FPS in most games on average anyway and when you do get the odd game where there is a gain in frames it's only very slight.
