Hi there,

I was searching the forum, and a lot of other forums, for this problem but couldnt find a fix.

This is my problem: I bought a new Pc with the following specs:

Crucial Ballistix Tactical PC3-14900(DDR3-1866)
AMD FX-8320 Black Edition
ASRock 970 Pro3 R2.0
Cooler Master B500
MSI R9 270x

Since i mostly game on my pc, BF4 and Diablo 3 i went for the MSI R9 270x upgrade since my old GPU wanst doing its job, read BF4 low settings. Now im playing on Ultra what is fine and perfect.

But....
1. My Win7 64bit seems to be a bit laggy. When im just browsering the internet my mouse wont move as smoothly as normal.
2. The Afterburner from MSI keeps telling me that i have Catalyst Driver version 13.10, but i def have installated the 13.20 from the site.
3. My AMD Drive AutoDetect keeps saying that he cant find my OS and therefore will not do an update. Nothing about a good or bad driver.

But when i play BF4 i get good FPS and the temp isnt going above 56 Cel. on Ultra after 4 hours of playtime. I dont have any lag ingame and no crashes.

I did, however, had some bluescreens. But after a restart all went fine.

I dont have an SSD atm, still saving money for it. Wanted to have on big enough for both windows as BF4.

So, maybe this forum can help me. Its a clean install(new PC). Everything is running smooth execpt windows7.

I'd have a crack at completely removing any traces of your GPU drivers and installing the latest one straight from the ATi site. Also while you're at it, are you noticing any programs using an unusually large amount of CPU resources when idling?

The CPU isnt using much when idling. Only 10% or less. Im gonna do an driver uninstall and reinstall like you mentioned. Will report back that was the trick
