Hello guys, My brother is having some issues with he's Alienware M14X.
He reports that while playing Borderlands 2 (Which he has been doing for a long time now, before the problem started), After a while the game slows up and the computer shut down by it self. than he gave it some time and turned on the computer again, started the game and it happened all over but just after 5 minutes this time. He did not report any video/graphic artifacts or abnormalities.. He also said that he feel that the air flow out of the computer is less than the usual.. We tried to open the case but it is really an alien chassis and couldn't really clean up anything.. the fan didn't seem to be dust up that much.
-I couldn't find a way to add a CPU-z txt file, How can it be done?
Thank you very much for the help :)

Alienware cooling is top of the line, that's definitely not the issue. I have an M17x R3 and love it.

Is it a new M14x model or an older one?

My suggestion here would be to download and run CoreTemp which will help determine if temps are the issue. What surface does your brother game on? A flat hard surface which allows air to the intake vents or a nice fluffy pillow or other non-flat, non-hard surface. If CoreTemp reports temps over 80C, I'll suggest looking to youtube for disassembly and thermal compound replacement information
