I am building haswell system:
i5 4440 or 4670 (haven't decided yet), but both have same TDP...
4 GB RAM Kingston 1600Mhz
Asrock h87 Pro4
-----
Already have 2 hdd 7200rpm and ati 7770 asus gpu.

The question is if Chieftec GPA-500S8 (specification) can be used with new system?
Tried PSU calculator and got ~335W which is higher than 80% of 12V rail max power=396W
Note* i don't care haswell ready psu option. I won't use pc at sleep. Also psu is 1 year old.

Solution
I would definitely replace that PSU . It is VERY low quality and could easily fry the entire computer if it were to fail. Change it to an Antec, XFX, Corsair, Seasonic unit. Also, if this is a gaming computer, you may want to look into a better GPU than an hd7770.
