A year ago I got a new gaming PC, and since then I stopped gaming because I wasted so much time on it.
Onto my point, I hardly ever use my CPUs full performance ((clocked to 3.9GHz)5-15% is my usual load) and I see no need in wasting power running a CPU that I don't harness the power of.
