Mouse acting crazy after going from DVI to HDMI

Last week I changed my PC monitor to a LED TV.
The TV only had HDMI and DVI/HDMI inputs, no pure DVI.

So I purchased a DVI/HDMI cable and put the DVI side on my CPU and HDMI end in the DVI/HDMI slot on the TV.

I am not sure what is going on but for some reason when I am playing WoW, my mouse and my overall display goes out of control when I move my pointer.

I should probably post a video clip to explain but just to describe the scenario - say I am standing still, now I move the pointer to look around, instead of panning left or right, it would focus the ceiling or something crazy like that, which makes movement very hard to manage.

Is this due to switching to HDMI? I don't think so..since HDMI or DVI is only related to displaying pictures (or sound in case of HDMI).

I am confused and almost regretting the TV display.

Please help!
