Hey guys, I've gone through google for the last half hour and can't seem to find a fix for this.

I'm running Windows 7 64-bit with a GTX 690 as my GPU

I just installed Star Wars Jedi Knight Academy and I'm not getting any menu text. Like the game loads into the menu and you can select and load screens where the text is, but I can't see the text I'm clicking.

This is version 1.01 btw :)

Here's what I've tried so far:
I've tried running the game on my non 120Hz monitor, didn't work.
Tried lowering monitor resolution to a size the game would prefer.
The game is running on Windows XP SP3 and as administrator.
Tried setting all the files to read only (as this has worked for some games before).

Sorry had to sleep and yeah, in my first post it says Windows XP SP3 mode. Yeah it's like I said I couldn't find any known issues with this one, and I've tried all the obvious stuff like resolution problems, compatibility mode, monitor refresh rate and so on.

ddude i could not find anything more that what i sent you... i rember i had a game that it semed that there was a file that was not getting open when the game started up and i had to move it in the base files to get it to work but its been a looooong time ago and i may be mistaking on some of that... when you loaded the game from the disk it did load in the x86 part of windows and not the 64bit part?

Not entirely certain if it did, loads too quick, and for some reason mine never asks for a disc whether the CD is in or not. (note I haven't installed a crack so it's weird)

Oh and I can only find an x86.dll file if that helps (no x64)

Tried re-installing, same problem.

I read something about need to run __GL_ExtensionStringVersion=17700 (something to do with the game not being able to read all the info that current OpenGL gives it, but I have no idea how to apply that xD

Might just be a Linux thing, but I'm trying anything I can find atm.

Just putting an update in. I decided to buy the Steam one and test that, and all is working.

I think it's safe to assume that my disc is old and not installing the files correctly. I guess the old games don't tell you when they fail to install properly.
