Hi,

I just bought the components and build a pc with them :

  • ■ ASRock H77 Pro4/MVP
    ■ Corsair CX500 V2 500W Builder Series 80 Plus Bronze
    ■ Intel Core i5-3350P 3.1Ghz Box
    ■Asus GeForce GTX 660 DiretCU II 2GB GDDR5
    ■ Kingston HyperX Blu DDR3 1600 PC3-12800 4GB CL9

I have installed W7 on the computer, it has a HDD of course. The problem is when I press shutdown on W7, W7 closes all the applications shutdown itself and the computer keeps with the fan and the leds on. It is not suspended, the front led does not blink. It is just on. Furthemore, when I press reset buttons or power button it does not answer. Only if I keep press the power button for several seconds, then, the computer finally shutdowns.

On the other hand if I order the computer to reset, it shutdown completely, fans and leds off and it starts again. But when ordering it to shut down it just stay in this state.

I have been changin options in the BIOS, updated the BIOS to the last version and look for in the FAQ of ASROCK without luck.

how is it possible to turn off completetly the computer just by ordering it throw W7 ? What do I have to change in the configuration?

Thanks for help.

I contact the e-tailer.

They said to me to disconnect the battery from the motherboard for a minute and put it back after.

I just set the date/time and it worked correctly.
