Hello
The 770 2gb is a beast at 1080p and will power through games such as battlefield i have the asus gtx 770 and i have been enjoying battlefield 4 completely maxed out with very high frame rates. Nvidia also have their holiday giveaway where you can recieve three free games with a 770 so i would go that way. I would look at either an msi, asus or evga gtx 770. (4gb is a waste you will only ever need the 2gb for 1080p gaming)

Hello
The build is looking good however i would change some major things that will give you the same performance but dramatically decrease the price.
First i would Buy an i5 4670k instead of the i7 because the i5 is just the same speed when overclocked as the i7 just without the hyper threading (i have one and they are great, plus you can overclock them to higher speeds)
second of all i would reccommend you downgrade your ram from 16gb to 8gb and 2400mhz to 1600mhz because in the current state that is all you will need.I would recommend a low profile 8gb kit from corsair for ram.
Everything else looks in order and if you take me advice you will be able to get the same gaming performance with a price no where near your original plan.

Oh yeah. And with the other suggestion to go to 8GB 1600 memory, you will save money AND increase performance. It's hard to do that :p lol

I have a 760 and get to max out most every game, and the 770 gets 15-20% better than that!

Which one would you recommend?

MSI Lightning. Best 770 out there. High out of box overclock, and is completely unlocked so you can do what you want with it, and they are generally very good overclockers.

I built my new gaming rig just before Christmas and had spent the year researching parts i would recommend either the asus gtx 770 direct dcuii i use it and it is whisper quiet on load and very cold, it is also the best 770 for overclocking plus i love asus so that's why i chose that or the msi gtx 770 twin frozr. I ended up getting the asus version because it was the coldest card and had the best overclocks and it was the only one out of the two cards to come with nvidias three free games. Both those cards Would be great but ultimately i would recommend the asus gtx 770 dcuii as the best gtx 770 card
