I have a Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 120GB that I think may be having issues. This is my first ssd, so i'm clueless on how to diagnose/fix.

The ssd has about 20 gb left on it, most of it is filled with Windows 7 ultimate, photoshop, lightroom, premiere pro, and davinci resolve.

Symptoms i've seen over the past few weeks:
Computer randomly restarting. No warning or error message, just a complete restart. most of the time this restart gets stuck halfway and I have to power off and back on.

Most of the time when this happens, I get a "checking disc for consistency" screen(which leads me to believe hard drive)

When loading a page in google chrome, or doing something as small as moving a tab, my computer willl freeze for 10-20 seconds. I have control of my cursor, until I try to click on something else.

When my computer goes into sleep mode, it never comes back out. I have to hard reset. I ususally get another disk consistency screen.

What information should I provide you guys, and what can I do to fix this issue? Thanks!

It seems you use a lot of RAM heavy programs so how much RAM do you have?

The reason its doing a disc check is because it was not shut off correctly. If it is just turned off by pressing the power button you could possible harm the OS, file system or the hard drive. Especially if you were in the middle of writing data to the hard drive
