Hi,
I have a Pavilion P7 1380t (Configurable) Desktop PC,
My Specs;
Motherboard: H-Joshua-H61-uATX
RAM : 6GB DDR3
CPU: Intel Core i5 3330 Ghz
PSU: 300w
HardDrive: 1.0Tb

I have recently tried to install a EVGA nVidia Geforce GT 620 Graphics Card to my computer, followed all the correct procedures however, every time i insert it and turn the computer on, it turns on and off twice before coming on (On,Off,On,Off,ON....), however still displays nothing on screen, once i take it out everything goes back to normal ( I can see the display and etc.)
BIOS is bare backbone so not many options there, i have also tried disabling the On-Board Integrated Graphics but to no avail, HEEEELLLPPPP Please, I am new here !!!!
p.s the fan runs fine and the GPU is pushed in correctly

Solution
some models of store bought computers [dell.hp,acer,ect..] may come with a ''locked'' bios and may not allow you to change certin hardware as a video card.. this is done to protect them from undue warrenty claims and rtefunds .this is not done to hurt you but to protect them. you realy need to see if that upgrade has been proven to work first before you invest money in it .. there are a lot of these threads here at toms to look at some models will allow upgrades and some dont.. it would be sad you spent $200 on a card that wount post after you installed it as most find out. but its up to you good luck..
