Screen Tearing during Gaming

Currently I use a Vizo HDTV as a monitor for my PC from when I used to use consoles for gaming, This Vizio is 24", 1080P, LED and 60Hz.. My PC is connected via HDMI. The screen tearing is inconsistent, it all varies on what game I'm playing. For example screen tearing is less evident in Batman Arkham CIty than in Counter strike GO where the screen is in 2 pieces sometimes 3. When watching videos or browsing the internet there's no tearing. I have tried adaptive Vsync and normal Vsync, and Triple buffering, all with the same results, nothing. I also looked in the TV setting just to make sure nothing was wrong, but found nothing. My PC was home built and uses a GTX 650 Ti Boost. I haven't tried other monitors or TV's, but I'm sure there would be no problem with tearing if I were to try something else.

If vsync won't cure it, then there really isn't much you can do about it. That Vizio might just not be able to handle 50-60 FPS, hence why you get tearing even with vsync on. It might be your best bet just to go buy a good 24" monitor from a brand like ASUS or HannsG/Hannspree.
