Hello i have a toshiba HDD 500g external,when i plug it,it lights up,i get pop up saying your device is ready to use,yet i dont find it in computer,however,i can find it in diskmgmt.msc and in devices and printers,i tried to refresh it in diskmgmt but it didnt help
HDD external won't show up in computer but is recognized

Go back to Disk Management, right-click on that drive ribbon and choose "Change Drive Letter & Paths".
Click "Add"
Accept the default letter.
Click 'OK' and wait up to 30 seconds before checking Windows Explorer for your missing drive.
