I auto-tuned my FX-8320, and it may be broken.

Okay, so I turned on auto-tune in the Catalyst control center, and I went to go do something, and when I came back, it was frozen at 4300 MHz, and I managed to restart it. So, I gave the CPU a good 7 hours of overnight cooling off, because I don't want to overwork it, then I tried running a couple games. I ran minecraft to find extremely fluctuating framerates, and when I try to record, it's even worse. So, after this auto-tune debacle, my PC still works, but it's functioning at a much slower speed, and it may be permanent.

I have an ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 Motherboard, Radeon 7870 OC to 1150, and an FX-8320 with Hyper 212 evo.

What the hell happened, this is so frustrating that I can barely run anything!!!

Thanks for responding. I just turned off overdrive for the CPU and GPU, and I did a reboot. Is that all I need to do as far as getting it back to stock settings?
