Which graphics card to choose?

Hi,

I will be using applications like 3dmax, solid works, catia and adobe.

Please advise which card is best with entry and mid range ati and nvidia cards.

From what I've heard Nvidia GPUs are better for the kind of applications you do. If you don't play games you could go for a work station GPU but I'll just assume you play games. For Nvidia then I would suggest a gtx 650 or a gtx 760 if you have some more money to spend. For AMD go for a R9 270X or if you can find one a Radeon HD 7880 or Radeon HD 7770 for entry level. I'm not too sure about work station GPUs so I would go ask someone else on the forums. Only go for the workstation GPUs if this PC is only going to be for similar to the ones stated above.
