I recently built a new PC for Christmas. I have 8gb of RAM and I am running windows 8.1. The only 2 programs I have running are STEAM and Google Chrome. My memory used is constantly increasing. Task manager shows i am using 1% CPU and 66% of Memory. However it shows that I am using only about 700MB of memory. This is about 10-13% of my memory. The CPU continues to increase until it gets to 99% computer slows down and then freezes.
