I recently needed to Partition my mid 2010 Macbook to run windows for a specific software. But now i found out that the software need more RAM, So i'm off to buy and add this to my computer moving from 2Gb to 8Gb.
Question: When I add more RAM does this get allocated? Do both sides of the partition have access to use the full 8Gb of RAM? I didn't allocate any RAM per se to the partition just memory space with the slider.
THANK you SO much for any help you can give me.

The RAM will be accessible by both partitions regardless. You can install the RAM and be a happy man. No other action is needed. Just make sure that it is the right RAM for the Mac.
