Back during Black Friday/Cyber Monday, I was still waiting for prices to drop and still finding a card that would fit my rig. However, I think I have missed the window for cheap prices ($130-145 after rebate). Can I expect any drop in prices in the coming month?
When will cards drop in prices again? (e.g. 7870, r9 270x, 650 ti boost)

The AMD cards will probably not drop in price anytime soon. AMD either has to increase manufacturing or raise prices to keep them in stock. This is due to the high demand in cards from Litecoin miners.
I am not sure about the 650 Ti Boost, but prices should drop once a new SKU is released.

Depends which card u r gonna get
if you are getting an amd card then expect the prices to go up slightly
if ur getting an nvidia card the wait till the maxwell cards come out (800 series) the prices for the previous cards (especially 660-760) will drop
