Questions about Intel Xeon

Hi

I'm just wondering if the old Xeons from 2005 are any good? Me and my friend found two xeon pc's that where in working conditon. One of them is problebly from 2005 and have two xeons processors. i'm not sure what genaration they are. The other one is problably from 2007 with one xeon. I'm not into workstation pc's. I'm moore of a gamer pc enthusiast. Sry for extremly bad English:/

They're not great, they'll work for office use but not much else.

Ah, they'll be fine for basic office & websurfing. And, they are interesting in a kinda nostalgic way....

They would be pretty sweet for "regular" uses, but not gaming. You/him/yall should probably just sell them and put that money towards something new.

Not for modern use no.

Xeons from 2005 would be based on the Pentium 4 Prescott architecture.

They're cool to purchase and take apart though.

Old Xeons, no. Now if they were E3 1230's, that would be a different story. :lol:

hmmm, actally found out that the cpu's in the dual cpu pc where 1.6ghz quad core processors...
