I have a Gigabyte 2gb 650 TI Boost, Windows 7 x64

I have two monitors one is a Samsung Syncmaster 932BW and the other is a Acer s201hl.

My GPu has two DVI outputs on the back and i have one monitor hooked with a dvi cable and the other with a vga cable and a dvi-d to vga adapter but only the one with a dvi cable is being recognized. Is it not possible to connect these monitors using my method?

Usually on video cards there are 2x DVI connections on the GPU. One DVI port only sends out a purely digital signal, and the 2nd DVI port will send both a digital and analog signal. So you will have to figure which of the DVI ports carries both digital/analog by guess checking. If you connect the DVI to VGA adaptor to the wrong DVI obviously you will not get signal to the monitor. Good luck. :)
