My PC will shut down when I play games mostly it is just after the loading screen and I get to the title and my PC will shut down this happens on most games. Some games I can play for 5 minutes first.

This Problem has just started recently as I bought a new Graphics Card. All help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

System Specification:

AMD Bulldozer FX-6100 6 core CPU
8gb Corsair Vengeance ddr3 RAM
Asus Radeon R9 280X Matrix Platinum 3gb
Arctic Blue 750w Quad 12V rails PSU
Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 Motherboard
Aerocool Strike-X GT Toolless Mid Tower Gaming Case

Also i have ran the stress test from Bioshock Infinite and they gave me FPS of around 90 and max at 250 FPS so I am not sure. when I the test the Resolution was a bit funny but i don't think that is an issue. But I might be wrong.Again thanks a lot for any help.

Geofelt, Dish_Moose, and Aevm have all pointed at one thing; the PSU. Start there.
It probably is producing, Maybe, 55% of its advertised power, thus when the demand for more power hit it, it shuts down.
If it blows up - they do that on occasion - it very well might take out your CPU, mobo, and expensive video card: Not to mention the possibility of a fire !
Uninstall the video drivers and install the most recent ones.

Check the graphics card temperatures. Maybe the card overheats after a few minutes under load.

The PSU may be faulty and unable to support the card properly under load. Try with a different PSU. Get one with a single 12V rail, e.g. Corsair 750 TX.

From what I can find, your psu is a very cheap unit that probably can't deliver it's advertised power.

Your R9-280X needs a 6 and an 8 pin pcie power lead. You should find those on a quality 600w psu.
If you had to use molex to 8 pin adapters or such, that is a tip off.
I would return the unit in favor of a quality brand like Seasonic.

I have 2 8 Pin pcie leads going into it that is what it requires isn't it because on the top of the card there are 2 8 pin plugs. Have i got something wrong here?
