I have a mac, and I just wanted one place to put all the pictures I have scanned over the years and have on various flash drives
Okay well this video here will show you general use of creating folders and working with them:

Once you have a folder for the photos in the location you want all you have to do is:
step 1: plug in your flash drive
step 2: select the photos you want, if its multiple photos hold down the 'command' key and click on the files you want and it will highlight all of the selected files
step 3: once you have your files selected, hold the 'command' key and hit the 'C' key (hold it down for a second or so)
step 4: go to the file you created for the photos and hold the 'command' key once again and hit the 'V' key
Then your photos should all be copied into your new folder!
