Inherited a new Asus P8P67 Pro with bent pins in the 1155 Socket. Is it possible to replace the socket without tossing the whole board? If so, how to? Mucho gratzi for assistance!!! :)

Solution
The socket has as many micro-solder joints as it does pins, (Or more). So the socket is effectively not replaceable.

The pins *may* be able to be bent back into proper position with something like a mechanical pencil with the lead removed, or any other small, hollow tool that will allow you to manipulate the pins.
