Hey guys, so basically i have had this set up for a year except my graphics card.
i have a i5 3550,p8z77 v lx,16gig ram 1600mhz,gtx 780 ti sc. 850 watt power supply.

I had a friend mess around with my bios and it seemed abit snappier, im not 100% what he did. but when i bought it i was told my cpu was locked to 3.3ghz...that its not one to be oc'd....but when i go to my bios and it gives me the options to like choose between preformance energy saving or w/e and balanced and i go preformance, does that auto oc stuff? and whats x m p? and is there any safe standard settings for OC'ing?

And should your cpu and gpu run at 100% in demanding area's like metro last light, or movie making.
And what is c1e support? do i really have to tell my motherboard to use the stuff i put in it to its fullest for it to actually do it? like does it normally just run things at 80% to be safe or something?i dont have anything other then stock for cpu cooler.

That processor isn't completely locked. It's not completely unlocked but it can be bumped by up to 400 MHz (to 3.7 GHz)

As to X.M.P., that is an overclocking profile for system memory.

ok so how do i bump it, and do i have to watch for heating? and shud i be worried about bottle necking with that cpu? or no? and shud i do anything with xmp? or w/e...this is light....is my ram running at full speed? is there a tool that will help me monitor that easy ?

There should be a setting in the BIOS to enable XMP. If this enabled and left on automatic settings it will detect the highest supported RAM settings and apply them.

As to the CPU, find the setting under "AI Tweaker" that reads "turbo ratio" and set it from 37 to 41.

Ok so i bumped it from 39 to 41. and it changed all 4 of them to 41. i also turned xmp on. So i should see abit better preformance on the cpu and ram's part? i dont normally stress them, should i watch any temps? i have a coolermaster case with 2 xtra fans.
