I have a question regarding which graphics card to get.

I'm looking at the 4 GB GTX 770 or the 3 GB 780. Before you say anything though...

I'm not one to be changing out parts, even the graphics card.

Up until Black Friday I was still running a 3.4 ghz Pentium 4 OC'ed with a Radeon X1650 OC'ed.
It played Starcraft II just fine, however after not being able to watch YouTube videos or play 1080p movies I decided it was time to upgrade.

So, my line of thinking/questioning is:

When will games start to require 4 gb? I figure the current GTX 770 won't be good enough to handle games that are using 4 gb in the future, but maybe in SLI?
Another 770 will be cheaper than another 780 IF I want to upgrade.
The 780 right now only has 3 gb max and in SLI it will still only have 3 gb max, whereas 2 4 GB 770's in SLI will have 4 gb max.
The 780 is 384-bit while the GTX 770 is 256-bit (I'll admit I really have no idea what that means for the future...)
I want the ability to play at resolutions higher than 1080 multi-monitor in the future.
The 770 is based on the Kepler GK104 and the 780 is based on the Kepler GK110. Not sure how that is going to carry over to future games.

With all this buzzing around my head I would like to make my computer "future resistant" because I know there is no such thing as future proofing.

My current system is:

Core i7-4770K with Corsair H100i
2 x 8gb of Sniper 1866 and a 4 gb stick of Ripjaws 1866 (they are actually running quite nicely together) that I got for free buy buying
MSI MPower -regular- Mobo
840 EVO 256 gb
Rosewill Lightning 1000W
LG 14X BD-R
Win 7 Pro
All in a Rosewill Blackhawk Midtower-It was actually kind of fun modding my case to make the H100i fit! :)

I plan on OC'ing the S*** out of everything 10 years from now and I'd like to NOT have to change a card.
Buy a new one for SLI perhaps, but by that time the prices will have come down and it won't be as big of an investment.

So... 4 GB GTX 770 or 3 GB GTX 780? Price is something I've been wrestling with as well, but I can be persuaded...

Thanks guys! (And ladies - if you're out there...)
