Hello everyone. I know that the Dell Inspiron 660s requires a low-profile card, but is a 'low-profile ready' card also compatible? I want an HD 7750 for this system, but the Sapphire low profile isn't available ANYWHERE online. I want to buy from NewEgg or another reputable source.

Feel free to post links to alternative products as well.

Thanks in advance for the help!

A low profile card means that one or more of its connectors can be moved to a second low profile bracket or outright removed altogether. It is typically the VGA port that is movable/removable. If you are ordering a low profile ready card make sure it comes with the appropriate brackets to make it low profile.

As for making it low profile, you are smart enough to know the difference so I am confident you can make it low profile as the only think you need to do is remove one screw and two thumb screws then put the thumb screws back in the other bracket.

Although expensive, I would recommend:

Thank you for your response!

I had seen that card but I wasn't sure if it would work in my system given the extended height of the fan shroud. I would think that it would fit into the case, but I can't really tell for sure.

Can anyone verify if the referenced card will fit height-wise into the case?
