Right now I am considering purchasing a Kaveri chip and OC'ing the heck out of it with a custom loop. I'd just like some opinions on other peoples thoughts on the size format to use. Obviously Kaveri is meant for SFF but I also plan to use this case and loop down the road.

Go big with a full tower case in the NZXT line?

or small in an enclosure like Bitfenix Prodigy? Maybe mATX is the way to go rather.

Thanks all.

i would go small.

kaveri cries out to be in a small enclosure. low power draw, able to dual graphics with a 7750/7770 or r7-250/255/260 maybe even a r7-260x... which are low power draw gpus... the system would be dead silent and a pretty solid gaming machine.

depends on how they're made. if there are any mitx fm2+ boards with a solid 4+2 or 6+2 vrm design plus heatsink i'd say it would be pretty good. i'd keep an eye on the ASUS offerings... they tend to use some of the best VRMs on their boards... if they make something solid then there might be some hope for the platform.

currently gigabyte has the only mitx board for fm2+ i'd consider overclocking with

GIGABYTE GA-F2A88XN-WIFI FM2+
