Adding 2x4GB ram to existing 2x4GB ram, computer wont start

Hi everyone,

my computer has these on them currently

I tried adding a second pair to make my total ram 16 GB today, but my computer just kept on restarting. They're all the same sticks of ram, why won't it work?

Also, i'm using this motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=13-157-293

And this PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817703027

these are matched ram.......... all the same? all ripjaw stuff? all the same timings? all the same voltage?

SWAP the new set for the old set and see if that works. You should also test both sets separately using MEMTEST in the same two slots you already had working. www.memtest.org
