Not a lot more but it also depends on the game. if its CPU intensive there might be noticeable gains. you should be able to hit 4ghz on stock cooler using stock volts
Mainly what makes more fps in games is you gpu ... 7770 is low end gpu .. so don't expect to get high fps with that.. why u did not get the 7790 its pretty decent that 7770 .. anyway
if you want to get more fps in games .. get a stronger gpu .. thats it ..overclocking the 6300 won't make a huge diff really ..
I had a budget on £80 and by doing research the hd 7770 was the best card for the money, But if i disable two core it will give me less heat so that means i can overclock more and because games are not initialized for 6 cores yet theres no point have them 2 extra cores for the time being.

Have you overclocked before? It's not recommended to do it on the stock cooler, at all. A CM Hyper 212 EVO sells for around £25 and you should be able to get a mild overclock, however I can't promise noticeable performance gains. What's your motherboard? If it has bad power phases / VRMs then you can't overclock.
