Hey everyone. I recently upgraded my computer, and I noticed a big lack of performance on all games actually.

Before I upgraded my computer specs were:
Processor: Intel Haswell i7-4770K 3.5 GHz LGA1150 8 MB HD4600
Graphics card: Asus GTX680-DC2-4GD5 GTX 680 4 GB GDDR5
Motherboard: Asus Z87-DELUXE LGA1150 ATX Z87
RAM: 4x Kingston HyperX Beast 32 GB ( 4 x 8 GB ) DDR3-2133
Boot drive: 256 GB Intel SSD Drive
Secondary drive: 1TB Intel HDD drive
OS: Windows 8 64-BIT
Before I upgraded I was also running my computer with a 6 year old 19 inch monitor as well as a 26 inch TV.

After I upgraded my computer, my specs are:
Processor: Intel Haswell i7-4770K 3.5 GHz LGA1150 8 MB HD4600
Graphics card: 2x Asus GTX 780 TI
Motherboard: Asus Z87-DELUXE LGA1150 ATX Z87
RAM: 4x Kingston HyperX Beast 32 GB ( 4 x 8 GB ) DDR3-2133
Boot drive: 256 GB Intel SSD Drive
Secondary drive: 1TB Intel HDD drive
OS: Windows 8 64-BIT
I also upgraded my monitors. I've got 3 BenQ XL2420TE.

In games like Minecraft I was running at about 2000 FPS if the FPS lock was removed. After my upgrade, minecraft runs at about 150 FPS with the same settings.

I also have installed the drivers properly.

side note: I was only running on 2 monitors before. However, the GTX 780 ti is much more powerful than the gtx 680.
Also, It's not only Minecraft.
Before my upgrade I was able to record on Call of Duty ghosts in the highest settings with no FPS spikes what so ever. It also remained at 45 FPS at all times.

Now with my GTX 780s, I can record at about 20-25 FPS. It doesn't really bother me aside from the fact that I upgraded my computer to get worse performance..

isnt 20-25 really low for sli 780 ti ? I have a friend with a 770 running minecraft maxed out at 200+ frames. You should definitely get return the cards and get new ones and then check your fps. If it remains the same try removing one of the cards and see your fps. If your fps is gradually higher with 1 card then there may be a problem with your sli. Try running each card on its own first. If one of the cards is getting high fps and the other is getting really low fps then there may be a problem with one of the cards.

wierdly i have noticed with newer cards calculation power is dropping and power consumption is becoming a priority but i doubt that can be the issue. I'm not sure how this can happen lol. all you changed was the gpu's and the monitors. are the resolutions higher than the ones you had. adding a third monitor does account for some power loss but not that much in sli.
