After troubleshooting, the problem is said to be the following:
"DHCP is not enabled for 'Local Area Connection"
"Local Area Connection doesn't have a valid IP configuration"
It's a wired connection.

Did you set your IPv4 to Obtain IP and DNS automatically? If your are using a router, make sure the DCHP server is running. Last resort that I cant think of is to uninstall and reinstall/update your NIC driver.

It is set on automatic, and what do you mean by 'uninstall and reinstall/update your NIC driver'??
