Good day guys,

Im playing Battlefield 4 at All Ultra settings. Its kinda good and stable at 50-60 fps.

But one problem. At Evga Precision X, my video card rises to 80 degrees Celsius and the Core 0 and Core 1 at fanspeed goes at 70 degrees both.

My question is, is this normal at ultra gaming?

By the way, specs are:
i3 2120
EVGA GTX 650 ti BOOST 2gb
8gb ram

No cooling system installed, just the Video card fan and CPU fan, no exhaust fan, no chasis fan, just the two.

thanks for your answers :D

Solution
You have nearly answered your own question.
Because there is no proper means for the hot air to be exhausted, they are just cycling inside the case which is the reason for such high temps.
If you would have atleast one or 2 fans installed in the case, then for sure those temps would come down.

well i forgot to mention. Currently im using an old casing (the casing cover is missing). And i ve already planned to buy a new casing nxt week. So the if theres no casing cover and its open, the air can circulate, but is it still normal at 80degrees(video card) 70degrees(cpu)

Thanks dude, i think gotta stop playing at ultra for the meantime, I've tested at medium settings, video card at 60 degrees and cpu at 64 degrees. the video card is good, but what about the CPU? (at idle, temperature is at 40 degrees)
