Do I Need 2-Way SLI?

Do I need it to be able to use two gpu's at the same time? Like does having a 2-way sli mean having two slots for gpu's or???

SLI (Nvidia's term)- It is running 2 or More graphics card simultaneously in a single system so as to get overall better performance.
AMD's term for the same is Crossfire.

Yes you would need the right mobo to do it. - It should have 2+ PCIe(preferably x8 and above speed) slots and should support SLI

So do i need a gpu that supports both 2waySLI and is crossfire capable?

I am really new with this mind helping me build a decent coputer my budget is small though... beware
