This morning I got on my PC and my keyboard would not type so I thought perhaps restarting the pc would fix the problem. WRONG. As the pc was booting up it said no keyboard connected so I disconnected and connected it in a different usb port and got nothing. So I decided to try a different keyboard. Plugged it in and it worked so I went about my day. Got home from work 8 hours later and the other keyboard is not responding now. So I have looked up and done everything that i can think of. I have changed the power saving on the usb ports to disabled. I have ran antivirus and malware bytes ccleaner...I'm at a loss. I have taken my wifes keyboard to try and get this working. and the other keyboards are still working I checked them out on my wifes pc. None of my other USB components are having issues. Mouse and external HDD are working perfectly.
