Hi guys, I have been thinking about getting my new gaming rig for a while now. In threads that I have posted I have received a lot of inconclusive results e.g. parts missing or that I am unable to find.

Could anyone suggest, for under $1250AUD(preferably lower)a good gaming pc configuration that can run most modern gmes on high-ultra settings at playable framerates >60fps. All of the parts must be purchasable from Mwave Sydney as I live near the store and they must be in stock/in stock with suppliers .

Please, no arguing between AMD/Intel fanboys (sorry if that offended anyone).

Screenshots of shopping carts/conclusive parts lists preferable.

Overclocking: Yes

I would prefer to have an Intel CPU as i have had bad experiences with AMD in the past

Yes I have an OS and monitor, however, I am a bit partial to Intel CPU's however, would that not be pratical on this budget? I also noticed the GPU is not in stock?

Basically intel would be a much more expensive option than AMD, and you would probably have to go for a lower end graphics card to stay in budget. The 8320 is a good cpu and overclocks very well, and you could get it past 4ghz with ease

About the gpu, Mwave don't seem to have any of the R9 280X's in stock and that card is the best performer for your budget. Could you maybe get it from another dealer ?

CPL computers seem to have it
