Is it possible to bridge HDMI over wireless ethernet?

I have been trying to think of a way to transmit the HDMI signal from my computer to my bedroom which is on the other side of the house (which is about 25-35ft though a few walls), Wireless HDMI that can reach that far is very expensive and then I saw an HDMI to Cat5 converter, so I was wondering if it would be possible to bridge two routers together, one reciviving the Ethernet, converting it back to HDMI, and displaying it on my TV, and have another router on my computer to take the signal, convert it to Ethernet and transmit it to the other router, you get the idea. So is it possible? If not maybe some inexpensive way to get the connection that far?

Thanks!

I've seen the Chromecast before, but having control of my PC would be much better, I could use an app for my phone that allows me control over my PC and allow me to open files, read documents, play movies, YouTube videos, read forums, all on my TV. I don't see any problem with getting the Cat5 Cables, from what I understand they are cheap and they wouldn't need to be more than a foot (30 cm) long each.

I knew that device existed, I just did not want to pay almost $200 when there might have been a work around for less than $50.
