If someone could run over this build and make sure it all makes sense it would be greatly appreciated:

I'm absolutely no expert like some of these fine gentlemen but I'm pretty sure the parts you picked are for "dead products" I believe they call them? Meaning the 1155. Well least that's what I've seen some of them say. Isn't the i5 better option?..

The 3570K is by no means a "dead product". There's little reason to dump the extra cash into the 4000 series when the 3570K is as good as the 4570K.

That seems a nice start.
A couple of observations:

If you are not going to spring for a SSD boot drive then go with a Caviar Black rather than the Blue.

the PSU is overpowered unless you are planning on heavy overclocking and getting a second GTX760 later to run in SLI. 500Watt is more than plenty for this build as modern chips and GFX don't draw as much as they used to.

note that the memory timings will need to be set using an XMP profile in the BIOS/UEFI as they won't be set as default without that. (Have you confirmed that the Board and Chip are compatible with those timings without overclocking anyway?)

Adjust and build

Would you say the CM Storm is a better keyboard for the price?
EDIT: Its a bit too expensive for me, thanks for the recommendation though

I'm buying that PSU to be safe for the future. I'm more than likely to be upgrading the GFX card.
The board is'nt compatible for 2133 without overclock, but then doesn't that mean it should just default to 1600?
EDIT: And the Black is a bit too expensive for me atm, but I will be upgrading to that soon.

If you upgrade the GFX card with a single rather than SLI you still won't need that much power. Spend the same money on a lower wattage 80plus Gold unit - runs cooler and quieter If you want to stay with CoolerMaster then try their 550W SilentProGold I have used these and found them commendably adequate. When upgrading the HDD, only go SSD route. Anything less would be a waste of money.

I cant fine the 550W SilentProGold anywhere (I'm UK) the 700W is only costing me £56.
Should I buy a backup HDD first?
Also is that mobo compatible with the things you said (that I didn't really understand)?
EDIT: How do the results of SLI compare to buying a higher spec card e.g. what would two 760's be equivelant to?
Oh actually, I found this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=KfOtmoxLMXI
so dont worry about looking up the SLI difference

There are plenty of articles on Toms comparing single cards with cheaper pairs in SLI (nVidia) or CrossFire (AMD). My personal take is that I would generally prefer a single card as there are fewer driver compatibility issues that way. After all these years both nVidia and AMD still have haven't perfected multiple cards.

BackUp - yes always back up you system but I would recommend a USB3 or eSATA connected external drive.
