When I start my CPU, it immediately turns off, then on, then off for about 4 times, it then tells me "The previous overclocking failed" and turns me into the BIOS.

-I tried resetting the settings on the BIOS.
-Removed the CMOS battery
-Removing all the parts then starting it.

My PSU is a 500W ATX and I'm pretty much sure it gives more than enough.

I have no idea what's causing this, and yes, I've checked the PSU voltages on the BIOS, it's all near the variables and I can't get a PSU since I don't have a credit card.

Halp PLS

Can you list the parts in your case? If you're running AMD make certain in Catalyst Control Center that AutoTune is not on.

Bad PSU
Rubbish non JEDEC ram
Bad video card

If its a cheap nasty psu i would replace/upgrade it regardless

If its ram go into the bios and set the memory voltage up, lower the ram speed

If its a bad video card (if present) try using onboard video (if present)

parts list and is your cpu fan working mine did that a couple times because i forgot to plug in my radiator power which was really stupid. Just make sure your CPU fan is actually working if not get a new one i recommend the hyper 212 evo for air cooling and for water cooling go with Antec 920 or corsair h80.
