plug and play not working

so i have had this problem for months now the front port should be plug and play but when i plug in the headphones in it i have to go to control panel, sound and there choose the other speakers as default device for the headphones to work. so can anyone help me? because its very annoying to do this every time cause i plug it and unplug it almost every day.

if a realteck open its controal panal [sound manager] plug in headphones a pop up will show up and click it to configure??

it doesnt show up, the realtek assumes it as speakers and i dont know how to fix it. i can let you in with the teamviewer if you can fix it.

in the sound manager [not the windows one] it shows the ports analog back panel and front panel with 2 ports one should be headphone and one as mic?? and your pluged in the the correct one

yeah the green one is the headphones so i plug it in the front green one and until i change it from sound it wont work as plug and play

ok when you pluged it in did you try thr set defult device in the sound manager? [ dog chewed mt headphone cord and i wish i could do this along with you]

sorry.. remove the realteck driver and see if it works under the windows built in defult driver...
