HD 5770 not working on Gigabyte G31M Es2L

Hi i have a Gigabyte G31m es2l MObo (ver2.4) i got my friends HD 5770 (xfx) 2 years old as he got a new laptop .

I installed it but there is no post(No booting) , if i remove the 6 pin connector i am able to use the computer thru onboard VGA .

I have a good 600W PSU Huntkey i have used it produces around 520 watts at peak .

I have changed preffered to pci and all still no booting or sound . Pls help .

I think this has to do something with your MB BIOS, there must be some settings that you have to play with, maybe you have to disable something or enable something in BIOS, like disable fast boot or UEFI BIOS, or something like that.
