I have an Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 motherboard, I recently had a faulty set of ram so I have returned it and I now need another set, can anyone suggest the fastest set of ram for my motherboard? (that runs stable) I'm looking for 16GB and a simple BIOS setup.

Here is AMD's memory guide for their CPUs http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/ddr3memoryfrequencyguide.aspx

Most FX CPUs can utilize two 1866 of ram. The best way to go at 2133 is to overclock your CPU first before overclocking the ram. In my case, can only recommend GSkill memory as I have used them a lot and still not given me a pain in the neck.

I have the FX-8350 and only 1600MHz is supported as I have 4 slots and 2 will be in use.

Will I be able to use this ram http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CMZ16GX3M2A1866C10R-Vengeance-Performance-Desktop/dp/B007QY87MG/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1388845480&sr=8-4&keywords=corsair+vengeance+16gb ? because I can underclock it but I'm not sure if the CL10 1866MHz tag is a massive difference from CL9 and 1600MHz?

Yes you can use that. When you install it, the motherboard will automatically set the memory into JEDEC standards (1333MHz, 1.5V, stock timings).

Difference in gaming would be 1-2 FPS difference. You will notice the difference in synthetic benchmarks.

Had a look at the motherboard manual and decided to go with 16GB of vengeance at 1600MHz, thanks for the help!
