PC won't boot, I've performed all of the tasks on the checklist.

AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz 8-Core Processor

Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0 ATX AM3+ Motherboard

G.Skill Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

1TB WD Caviar Black

EVGA GTX 660 2gb

CorsairCX 600 80+ Bronze

I've built multiple PCS and never had this happen. I am hoping you guys have some solutions for me!

Try firstly checking the last 4 digits on a thin bar code on the board (for the BIOS version).

The mobo might not like that ram? Just a guess, i read some asus were sometimes picky about ram, could be wrong!

Hi, WaSquids that's a fantastic avatar.

@ OP, check to see if the CPU and RAM seated properly.

Just checked the barcode, 2005 is the last 4 digits, looked it up and it's updated to support the 8320, cpu and ram are seated nice and snug, also checked the QVL and the ram is supported..any more solutions? :-<

Can you connect a case speaker to the motherboard

I decided to just rebuild it and hope I accidentally plugged something in the wrong place. The CPU came out with the heatsink. No pins are damaged on the CPU and i am fairly confident that I didn't mess up installing it, and yes i will plug the speaker back up when I get done building it again.

Okay, just rebuilt. CPU LED is still red. No beeps from the speaker either :/

Is the 4/8 pin power cable connected? Is the CPU fan spinning when starting the board?

Yes, CPU fan is spinning and the 8 pin CPU cable is also connected.

Then it looks like a CPU or a motherboard issue. I suggest RMA-ing them.

Alright, I figured as much. Is there any reason why I'm not getting any beeps when turning it on?

Since red CPU led, the board does not "see" a CPU installed, therefore no beeps. The CPU does not work.
