Can P8 or P2 power GPU?

I meant P8 and P7, not P2. It is a Dell XPS with either 6770 or 6470, more likely last one with a PSU with 385-460W range. Considering getting a newer Radeon card with PCIe. Do you need PCIe cables or will these work? The current GPU get it's power from MB

With a newer card you'd most likely need a higher wattage PSU. If it's a good make then about 450W should be fine for the newer Radeon ones. Getting a newer card with having an older CPU might bottleneck the GPU.
