I'm going to have a AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz 8-Core Processor / gtx 660 / 8 gb ram

wanting to spend $50-70, might spend $10-15 more if it's truly worth the extra $$.

I will vote for the Asus M5A97 R2.0(non LE) because it has better components for overclocking. Don't get the Asus M5A97 LE R2.0

I don't do any overclocking, since I'm a complete noob when it comes to it. I'm pretty scared I will ruin something. So I should get that mobo even if I don't overclock? What's the reason for that mobo vs a cheaper one?

Yes you should get it. MSI is fine with 95W CPUs, (FX 4300, FX 6300) but now 125W (FX-8320, 8350). Asus has better components than MSI's.
