Hey guys I downloaded a windows xp recovery into a flash drive, to fix the the modified computer(the old drivers don't work with the new motherboard). But I don't know if you can open a flash drive in BIOS 4.

Hi

Are you putting a old windows XP hard disk on a new motherboard
It helps if this is planned rather than a dead motherboard

If there is a sata hard disk controller set to ahci (or raid or native mode)
If this is changed to pata (or ATA) in the bios you may be able to boot up
Changing from Intel to AMD or viva versa. Can also stop XP from loading
CPU driver would have to be removed

It is possible that some bios may see a USB floppy as A: to load a F6 driver for sata ahci
