Which am3+ MOBO should i get

Hi id like to know a good motherboard for am3+ CPU's. The budget for it is around £50-£60 +/- , id like to have the option to overclock just a little and also have a good 2nd PCI-e slot for crossfire.

Asus motherboards are really good. The UEFI BIOS interface is packed with features and really easy to use. It's great for overclocking.

I would advise against Crosfiring. And just get a single powerful card.

Most motherboards in that price range will have 2 PCI-e x16 slots, but will only use x4 bandwidth in Crossfire.

Im planning on getting a xfx 7970, and was looking at a M5A97. Do you think this Card and mobo will work well with each other ? and thanks for the fast responses guys
