Hi guys! I am building a new PC quite soon and am on the hunt for a 500W PSU for under £45. I cant spend any more than that as I am constrained on a budget. I was looking at a Corsair CX but I heard that they are poor quality? I would really appreciate the help and thanks!

The PSU I was looking at (Corsair CX):

Thanks for the help. :)

I think "mediocre" is a more correct description of the Corsair CX line than "poor".

Anyway, the XFX Core Edition 450W is available at under £40 and is a quality PSU. It can deliver nearly as much "real" power as the Corsair CX500; 34A on the 12V rail. The 550W version is available at just under £50.
